Cocktail Party at the Officers Mess followed by the ceremony of Beating Retreat at Kineton Barracks

Penny and I were asked to their annual cocktail party which was very enjoyable. I was asked to wear my hat for the ceremony and to take the salute at Beating Retreat on the main Barrack Square and the evening was finished off with an impressive firework display.
