Warwick Boat Club sponsored and ambulance.  A group of South Warwickshire residents responded to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine and started the non-profit organisation Ambulance Aid.  They funded and delivered 7 ambulances and an SUV filled with donated medical supplies to Ukraine - this was in partnership with Medical Aid Ukraine (MAU).

Warwick Boat Club has fundraised for charities in the past. The Club decided that the most straightforward way to directly help the people of Ukraine was to run an event in aid of Ambulance Aid. From Committee approval in June to the 24 hour tennis-a-thon early September, the Club has raised over £11,000, enough to fund the purchase of a second hand ambulance.
