wassailing at hill close gardens

A great fund raising event for both the High Sheriff's charity Crimebeat and for the wonderful Hill Close Gardens, the hidden hedged gardens of Warwick.

It was a great turn out on a clear but chilly evening - there was warm wassail for guests along and a delicious hog roast, vegetarian curry, apple cakes and cheeses.  We were entertained by the fabulous Plum Jerkum Morris dancers and music by a young Ukrainian Violinist.

Everyone enjoyed themselves.
