The visit started with a welcome and hot drinks, followed by a short presentation on UPW, the different types of programmes etc. and an opportunity for questions and discussion. The High Sheriff was issued with a high viz vest and safety boots and taken by minibus to one or two projects in the area where she saw those on probation engaged in their tasks, and had the opportunity to discuss the experience with them.
