The High Sheriff Legal Service
We had a fantastic turnout from the diverse community of Warwickshire to celebrate the start of the Legal Year at the High Sheriff’s Legal Service held at St. Mary’s Church. This significant annual tradition welcomed approximately 280 guests, including distinguished members of the Warwickshire Judiciary, the legal profession, and local government, alongside High Sheriffs from neighboring counties.
Dignitaries in attendance included the Lord Lieutenant, mayors from across the county, representatives from emergency services, charitable organizations, youth groups, and a wide array of religious communities from Warwickshire.
The service commenced with an uplifting fanfare performed by the Warwick School Fanfare Team, followed by a captivating tabla performance by Juggy Rihal. Attendees were treated to performances from Warwick Prep School, the Warwickshire & Coventry Gospel Choir, and readings from representatives of various faiths.
This service beautifully blended tradition with inclusivity, providing a platform for prayers, reflections, and music from multiple faiths, showcasing the unity and shared values among Warwickshire’s diverse communities.
Thank you to everyone who supported the Legal Service with their presence! 🙏
