What an eye-opener! I had the opportunity to join the team on patrol and let me tell you—there’s so much more that goes on behind the scenes than we realise.

From the moment we hit the road, it was constant vigilance: watching, listening, checking in with the community, and staying alert to anything that might raise concern.

We covered areas I didn’t even know existed—and I’ve lived here for years! It really opened my eyes to the sheer scale and scope of what these officers do day in and day out.
