Founders Day (Bun day) -  Bedworth

This annual event affectionately known as Bun Day celebrates the contirbution of the towns most famous rector, Nicholas Chamberlaine.  Held in the quadrangle of the Armshouses over 1200 children attending this fun service along with dignitaries.  At the end a half day holiday was declared, and the tradition of handing out buns to the children continued.
