David Lodder

David Lodder was born on his family’s 150 acre farm in Henley in Arden in 1948 where he has lived all his life and which he continues to farm.  He and his wife Kirstie (who runs a livery business from the farm) have 5 children: Jo, Will, Hannah, Mat, and Sophie, and 7 grandchildren.

David was educated at Uppingham School and at Sheffield University. He was Articled in Sheffield and in 1974 joined the family firm of G F Lodder & Sons which can traces its origins back over 225 years.  When he became a partner in 1978 he was the third generation of Lodders in the firm. He was appointed senior partner of Lodders Solicitors in 2005. He specialises in advising farmers and landowners in connection with their businesses.

He is Steward of the Manor of Henley in Arden Court Leet and a trustee of the Henley in Arden Guild Hall Trust and a trustee of a number of charities in the County. 

He was appointed Under Sheriff of Warwickshire in 2004.
